Overlay: RPRAIN dataset (Globe Project)

Based partially on the layersreq example, this page makes requested to the GIServer of a static dataset (Terra.BORDERS) and to a temporal series located in the GLOBE program servers.

The request to the external server is made by cascanding the request RPRAIN and adding the necessary paramenters that where coded in the STYLES reference. Note that the style REFERENCE is a style defined at the alias of the RPRAIN in the GIServer, that adds the following parameters to the request:
    FORMAT=GIF&TRANSPARENT=TRUE&BGCOLOR=0x999999
